How To Whiten Armpit

What causes armpits to become dark?

The most common cause of darkening of the armpits is in the anatomy, the rubbing of the armpits against each other.

Another common cause: shaving and plucking. Every time you shave or pluck, you cause micro abrasions. When healed, these wounds cause darkening. You may not be aware of these, but you can easily confirm it by putting alcohol on your underarms after you pluck or shave. It's going to be very painful because of the abrasions. Shaving and plucking can also cause armpit hair to stand straight up and enlarge hair follicles, making your armpit take on the appearance of chicken skin.

Waxing can also cause trauma to the skin, although the burn may be slight. Some deodorants also cause an allergy and irritate your skin which results to dark armpits.

In the following lines, we will tell you how to whiten dark armpit.

How to Get Rid of Black Marks Under Armpits

Do not wear clothes that are too tight. They brush against the skin and cause darkening of armpits.

Instead of waxing or using hair removal creams, try sugaring to get rid of underarm hair.

At the time of bathing, scrub your underarms with lemon peel powder. Do this on a regular basis.

Gently rub lemon slices on your armpits.

Instead of deodorants, try to use alum powder on your armpits.

After having a shower, take some baking soda in your hands. Rub it on your armpits and rinse off with water.

Applying vitamin E oil on the armpits is also believed to help whiten dark armpits.

Use coconut oil for washing your armpits.

Take 1 tsp lime juice, 1 tsp cucumber juice and a pinch of turmeric powder. Mix them and make a paste. Apply the paste on your armpits and rinse after 20 minutes.

Take tbsp curd, 1 tsp gram flour, pinch of turmeric and 1 tsp milk. Mix them together and make a paste. Apply it on your armpits and wash off after 15 minutes.

Apply a paste of rose water and sandalwood powder on your underarms. Wash off, with water, after 15-20 minutes.

Do not shave your underarms at all.

Avoid synthetic fibers and wear cotton clothes, as much as possible.

Gently rub your underarm with a pumice stone. This will help get rid of the dead skin and whiten the armpits.

Use anti-fungal powder on your armpits.

How to Remove Upper Lip Hair

Everyone has unwanted body hair. Many people, especially women, search for the best way to get rid of hair on their upper lip. There are many different ways to remove upper lip hair.
  1. Pluck unwanted upper lip hair with tweezers. Hold your skin taught, squeeze the hair between the tips of the tweezers and pull it out. This method works best if you have a few random hairs needing removal. It's cheap, but usually painful.

  2. Shave off unwanted lip hair with a sharp razor, warm water and shaving cream or gel. Shaving can cause razor burn, bumps or cuts but is inexpensive and you can do it yourself. This method is a good choice for men, but not a good choice for women, because every time you shave, the hair that grows back is stubbier, darker and thicker.

  3. Apply a depilatory cream to your upper lip to dissolve unwanted hair. Make sure to read package directions carefully and buy one specifically designed for facial hair.

  4. Wax off upper lip hair. Apply a thin layer of wax to your upper lip, place a cloth strip over the wax, press it down firmly and then quickly pull it off to remove the hair. You can wax at home or have it done by a professional.

  5. Have laser hair removal to get rid of upper lip hair. The technician, or doctor, directs a laser through the skin to the hair follicle and stops hair growth. The professionals advertise it as permanent hair removal, but most people require follow up treatments.

  6. Undergo electrolysis to remove upper lip hair. When you have this procedure, the therapist inserts a needle into the hair follicle and sends an electrical current to the hair root that destroys the root. It is expensive, painful and time consuming but can provide permanent hair removal.
